On November 1, when staff from Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area were collecting infrared camera data in the field, they were very surprised to find a series of photos of an adult giant panda taken on September 24.

　　This is the first time that wild giant panda is monitored at altitude of 3000 meters of alpine region at Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area after golden snub-nosed monkeys were filmed in March, 2013. This important scientific breakthrough indicates that ecological environment at Huanglong area has been improved continuously and provides suitable habitat for wild giant pandas. It has been learned that Huanglong Tourism Management Bureau has been gradually enhancing the monitoring measure for giant pandas and other rare wild animals in the reservation and strengthening protection and research efforts to create a good ecological environment for wild animals.
