On July 28, the National Homestay Rural Tourism Work Conference was held in Chengdu. During the meeting, the list of the first cohort of national rural tourism key villages were released, and a total of 12 villages in Sichuan Province were included in the list.

　　A total of 320 villages across the country are among the List of the First Cohort of National Rural Tourism Key Villages. In terms of village numbers, Sichuan Province ranks the fourth in China, next only to Zhejiang Province, Jiangsu Province and Yunnan Province. Villages in Sichuan Province among the list included four villages in Chengdu (Zhanqi Village, Tangchang Street, Pidu District; Mingyue Village, Ganxi Town, Pujiang County; Baoshan Village, Longmenshan Town, Pengzhou City; Qili Community, Liujie Town, Dujiangyan City); Nianhua Village, Xiaode Town, Mianzhu City, Deyang City; Xingfu Village, Shunlong Town, Danlian County, Meishan City; Minqiang Village, Dadukou Town, Naxi District, Luzhou City; Didigu Village, Heizhugou Town, Ebian County, Leshan City; Wulong Village, Tianlin Township, Langzhong City, Nanchong City; Dawo Village, Sandun (Tujia Nationality) Township, Xuanhan County, Dazhou City; 2nd Village, Niexia Township, Danba County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture; Atulieer Village, Zhiermo Township, Zhaojue County, Liangshan Prefecture.   

　　Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism will integrate resources from all sectors to shore up key villages and excellent projects in tourism planning, creative rural areas and talent training. Villages included in the list can enjoy preferential state support policies. In addition, assessment and evaluation of key rural tourism villages across the country will be carried out at the right time by entrusting third-party agencies, so as to improve the incentive and restraint mechanism and establish a dynamic management mechanism featuring flexibility.
