On February 14, various cross-border imported goods were arrayed on the shelves and logistics packaging production lines were working in full swing in the JD cross-border e-commerce self-operated warehouse in No.1 warehouse of Chengdu International Railway Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone. "We didn't stop producing during the Spring Festival holiday, and we have basically resumed normal operation since February 3. From February 7, we receive 6,000 to 7,000 orders per day on average as new products arrive at the warehouse," said Zhu Shunyong, deputy general manager of Hohigo International Trade (Chengdu) Co., Ltd., operator of the self-operated warehouse. If the growth rate continues, the target capacity of over 20,000 orders per day on average will basically be reached in the first quarter.
    According to relevant heads from the Management Committee of Chengdu International Railway Port, at the beginning of this year, businesses and projects in the Port have resumed operation to complete orders and made an all-out effort to yield satisfying results at the start of a new year with great drive and momentum.
    On that day, at the place not far from the Comprehensive Bonded Zone, more than 170 builders were dedicated to accelerating the warehousing system construction of the ESR Cold Chain project.
    ESR Cold Chain project covers an area of 202 mu (13.47 hectares), with a total floor area of 113,000 square meters. The whole project is constructed according to three sections. At present, the main body of the first section has been completed and is planned to be delivered on March 1, and some merchants have already settled in. Moreover, the main body of the second and third sections is scheduled to be delivered in May and by the end of this year, respectively.
    Up to now, more than 20 world-renowned cold chain enterprises including ESR Cold Chain, Sinotrans PFS and Shenzhen International have settled in Chengdu International Railway Port. In the future, a cold chain storage carrier covering more than one million square meters, and a cold chain distribution center featuring full-chain functions such as online trading platform, one-stop financial services center, central kitchen, cold chain storage and distribution and delivery will be built.
