On December 4, Shi Xiaolin, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Governor of the People's Government of Sichuan Province, met with a delegation led by Zhang Weizhong, Chairman of SPD Bank, in Chengdu. The two sides exchanged views on a range of topics, including capitalizing on national strategic opportunities, leveraging SPD Bank's unique strengths, increasing the bank's investment layout in Sichuan, developing innovative financial products and services, and enhancing collaboration in using finance to back scientific and technological innovation, constructing a modern industrial system, supporting businesses to go global coordinatedly, promoting rural revitalization, protecting the eco-environment, improving public welfare, enhancing safety and emergency management, and preventing and defusing financial risks, among other areas. They also agreed to work together to advance the five major financial areas of science and technology finance, green finance, inclusive finance, pension finance, and digital finance, thereby promoting Sichuan's high-quality development through high-standard financial services.

Also present were Dong Weimin, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Executive Vice Governor of the People's Government of Sichuan Province; Zeng Qing, Secretary-General of the People's Government of Sichuan Province; Cui Bingwen, Vice President of SPD Bank; and leading officials from relevant provincial departments, among others.
