Recently, at the second "China Construction - Smart Future" Construction Robotics Competition and the fourth Sichuan-Chongqing Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Expo held in Chongqing, the reporter learned that a list of intelligent construction projects for Sichuan and Chongqing regions was released, encompassing a total of 60 projects.
The 60 projects are distributed across multiple locations in Sichuan, including Chengdu, Zigong, Panzhihua, and Mianyang, as well as in several districts of Chongqing, such as the High-tech Zone, Jiangjin District, and Banan District. These projects encompass a broad spectrum of areas, notably housing construction and municipal infrastructure, such as Chongqing Science City Electronic Information Industry Incubation Park (also known as Science Valley).
The event was hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. With a parallel "competition, exhibition, conference" approach, the event was structured in a "1+1+3+N" format, namely, hosting one construction robotics competition, one intelligent construction and robotics development exchange conference, three thematic exhibitions, and a variety of supporting activities. The aim is to promote technological innovation, achievement transformation, and industry cultivation in the field of construction robotics.
During the event, the new technologies for promotion and application in the urban-rural construction sector in Sichuan and Chongqing (second batch) were released, along with the catalog of construction robots and intelligent construction equipment for selection in the housing and urban-rural construction field in Sichuan and Chongqing (2024 edition). On the same day, the Administrative Commission of Chongqing-Sichuan Gaozhu New Area, the Chongqing Construction Technology Development Center, and the Sichuan Construction Technology Development and Information Center signed a strategic cooperation agreement. A total of 61 Sichuan-based enterprises participated in the expo, showcasing 81 exhibits on-site.
The Sichuan-Chongqing Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Expo has emerged as a prominent industry brand exhibition, leading in the western region and extending its influence nationwide. The exhibition has amassed a total display area of 141,000 square meters and attracted more than 500 units from eight countries and regions, as well as from the Sichuan and Chongqing areas, to set up their booths. It has also recorded a cumulative attendance exceeding 70,000 visits. |
