In his address, Gao Zhidan highlighted that with just over 130 days remaining until the commencement of TWG 2025 Chengdu, the preparatory efforts have entered a crucial final phase. We should raise our political stance and intensify our sense of mission, responsibility and urgency in accomplishing the preparatory tasks. It is essential to resolutely implement the crucial instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, adhere to the decisions and plans of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, bear in mind the country's fundamental interests, approach our tasks with heightened vigor and excellence, and ensure that the final phase of preparations is completed to a high standard, in a bid to deliver a commendable outcome to the Party Central Committee, the State Council, the people of China, and the global sports community. We should focus on key tasks and resolutely implement the requirements for organizing a "streamlined, safe and splendid" event. Work should be done to grasp the distinctive characteristics and organizational principles of TWG, execute a streamlined yet sophisticated approach, and showcase the global allure, the grandeur of Chinese ethos, and the rich tapestry of Bashu culture. It is necessary to maintain a mindset of risk aversion and worst-case scenario planning, actively collaborate with international organizations, and build upon our own strengths to ensure the safe hosting of the event. Work should be done to place competition events at the core of efforts, ensure a well-organized and seamless execution, prioritize the needs of athletes, deliver exceptional support services, and meticulously orchestrate all major activities, striving to organize splendid games. We should capitalize on our institutional strengths and foster a robust, cohesive effort to secure a decisive victory. Work should be done to establish a collaborative framework characterized by top-down and cross-functional coordination, promote a unified momentum marked by aligned objectives, cohesive efforts, and synchronized execution, and adhere to integrating event organization with the commitment to serving the people and driving development. Through our collective efforts, we will make TWG Chengdu a spectacular sporting event that displays China's distinctive appeal and contemporary vitality, thereby further contributing to building a great country and advancing toward national rejuvenation.

On behalf of Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee Wang Xiaohui, the provincial Party committee, and the provincial government, Shi Xiaolin thanked GASC and other national ministries and commissions for their support and concern for Sichuan's development and the preparation for TWG Chengdu. Shi Xiaolin stated that hosting TWG Chengdu is an important political task entrusted to Sichuan by the Party Central Committee, and the preparatory work has now entered a critical phase requiring intensified efforts. We must firmly shoulder our political responsibilities, maintain the correct direction, and consistently implement the important requirements of the Secretary and the strategic deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council throughout the preparatory process. We must remain committed to organizing a green, inclusive, open and clean event, prioritize safety as the foremost prerequisite, and meticulously plan and effectively execute all tasks to ensure that TWG Chengdu is conducted in a streamlined, safe and splendid manner, aiming to deliver a satisfactory report to General Secretary, the Party Central Committee, the State Council, and the Chinese people. It is necessary to uphold a systematic perspective and cultivate a strong sense of overall interest, ensuring the high-quality preparation of this international sporting event. Efforts should be made to coordinate and deliver relevant tasks such as the opening and closing ceremonies, torch relay, venue renovations, competition organization, service guarantees, and emergency safety response. We will enhance cultural communication and exchange, promote the spirit of sports, adhere to leveraging the event organization to drive urban development, industrial prosperity, and public welfare, foster high-standard opening-up, and utilize sports as a medium to welcome guests from various countries to visit Sichuan and deepen their understanding of China. It is essential to strengthen coordinated actions and enhance synergy in our efforts to ensure the efficient progress of all work. We will mobilize the entire province's resources to support Chengdu in hosting the event, actively strengthen communication and reporting, and fully leverage the role of international organizations to jointly advance the implementation of relevant work. We aim to organize a high-level international sporting event that meets international standards, showcases Chinese style, and embodies the charm of Bashu, thereby presenting the myriad facets of Chinese modernization.
