Studying, publicizing and implementing the guiding principles from the seventh plenary session of the 12th CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee represents a major political task both at present and for some time to come. Wang Xiaohui listened to briefings on the study, publicity and implementation efforts in Yibin and Luzhou, and personally expounded on the plenary session's guiding principles to grassroots cultural and tourism workers. He stated that advancing the deep integration of culture and tourism is both an essential requirement for promoting high-quality development and a crucial measure to expand domestic demand, optimize economic structures, benefit people's livelihoods, and foster opening up under current circumstances. The plenary session of the provincial Party committee focused its deliberation on this issue and adopted a resolution, proposing to build the "Splendid Tianfu, Leisurely Sichuan" cultural tourism brand and making systematic arrangements for advancing the deep integration of culture and tourism, which is of overarching significance with profound implications for the province's overall development. Qingling Town in Gaoxian County has pioneered a collaborative model among enterprises, schools and local authorities to establish a demonstration base for modern agricultural production-education integration, promoting contract farming and increasing employment opportunities and farmers' incomes. Meanwhile, Hongyan Village in Xuyong Town, Xuyong County, capitalizes on its Danxia landform and terraced fields to develop distinctive agritourism and homestay businesses, driving household incomes and boosting the rural collective economy. Wang Xiaohui visited both locations, where he toured village infrastructure and environment, engaged in cordial exchanges with local farmers, homestay operators, and participants of study programs, and gained firsthand understanding of agricultural-cultural-tourism product development and initiatives aimed at enhancing farmers' earnings, among other situations. He pointed out that the deep integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism should serve as a key driver for rural revitalization, and we should systematically enhance the scenic development of rural areas, thus creating destinations where tourists are willing to stay longer, enjoy themselves meaningfully, and gain valuable experiences, while simultaneously generating more employment opportunities and income growth for residents. Chunqiu Ancestral Hall in Xuyong County is a major historical and cultural site under national-level protection. During his inspection of this heritage site, Wang Xiaohui meticulously inquired about the historical evolution of the site, carefully observed its woodcarving craftsmanship, and learned about current preservation and utilization efforts. He emphasized the imperative of prioritizing conservation, stressing that while maintaining absolute protection of cultural relics as the baseline, the county should thoroughly explore the site's cultural significance and revitalize its utilization. He directed local officials to effectively narrate the heritage story and promote tourism development, enabling visitors to better appreciate the distinctive charm of fine traditional Chinese culture. The Chuanhong Gongfu Black Tea production technique has been designated as a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage. Wang Xiaohui visited the Linhu production facility of Chuanhong Tea Industry Group to observe the manufacturing process of black tea. During his inspection tour, Wang Xiaohui carefully listened to work reports on economic and social development from Yibin and Luzhou cities, affirming their developmental achievements. He emphasized the need to maintain confidence, stay focused, work diligently, and effectively advance key tasks such as delivering projects, expanding investment, and boosting consumption to ensure the completion of the targets and tasks for this year and make due contributions to the overall development of the province. At Xingwen Economic Development Zone, Wang Xiaohui visited Sichuan Shunan Xingzhu Ecological Technology Co., Ltd. and Yibin Jiyon Carbon Co., Ltd., respectively. Luzhou Hanfei Aerospace Technology Development Co., Ltd. specializes in the additive manufacturing of aerospace equipment. During his visit to the company, Wang Xiaohui went around the production workshop, observing metal 3D-printing technologies and customized manufacturing processes.
