On August 9, the Executive Committee of the 12th edition of The World Games (hereinafter referred to as "TWG 2025 Chengdu") held a special press conference on event support at the Main Media Center. It was learned at the press conference that over 8,600 event volunteers have taken up their posts to fully ensure the smooth progress of TWG 2025 Chengdu, which is the largest edition in the event's history by both scale and participant numbers.

It was introduced that the Executive Committee has recommended 38 hotels for Games participants, providing complete details on locations, booking methods, unique amenities, and nearby tourist attractions. This allows athletes and visitors to customize their stay and fully experience Chengdu's attractions during non-competition days. Before the Games, the Executive Committee organized comprehensive mobilization and guidance sessions for the hospitality sector and training programs for hotel staff, reaching over 3,900 person-times. The official hotels are providing guests with authentic local experiences. For instance, hotels in Chengdu High-tech Industrial Development Zone are offering panda plush toys and exquisite pastries featuring Sichuan elements, and the headquarters hotel hosts Tai Chi sessions every morning with master instructors for guests to experience traditional Chinese wellness practices.

Regarding medical services, since the opening of the Games, the Executive Committee has established medical stations at locations such as competition venues, the TWG Village, and the headquarters hotel, deploying ambulances and medical teams specializing in respiratory medicine, orthopedics, and other critical fields to provide on-site medical support and emergency transport services.

On the volunteer front, over 8,600 Games volunteers have been deployed across competition venues, the TWG Village, Main Media Center, airports, hotels, and other locations, working at full capacity to ensure orderly operations of the event. Previously, the Executive Committee has conducted general orientation sessions for Games volunteers, covering 14 key areas, including diplomatic protocols and cultural etiquette, followed by competency assessments. In addition to the volunteer services for the Games, volunteer services are also provided at the urban level. Under the guidance of the Executive Committee, 23 districts (county-level cities) and counties partnered with 18 supporting organizations and neighboring cities Meishan and Deyang to establish 532 urban volunteer service stations, engaging nearly 10,000 local volunteers.

In terms of transportation support during the Games, the Executive Committee has developed transit plans for each competition venue based on the overall arrangements for athletes' competitions and accommodation, daily competition and training schedules, and athletes' travel needs, ensuring punctual arrivals for all athletes.
