The 2025 Sichuan Financial Services and Cultural-Tourism Enterprises Dialogue and Matching Meeting was successfully held in Mianyang from July 28 to 29, co-hosted by the Department of Culture and Tourism, the Office of the Financial Commission of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, the Sichuan Provincial Branch of the People's Bank of China, and Mianyang Municipal People's Government.
Themed "Deepening Government-Bank-Enterprise Cooperation to Promote High-Quality Development of the Cultural Tourism Industry", the event featured specialized training sessions, policy briefings, and project signing ceremonies, among other activities. Key outcomes included the release of Sichuan's 2025 Cultural Tourism Financial Products Handbook and Financing Needs Catalog, culminating in 23 provincial banks signing loan agreements totaling 5.808 billion yuan with local tourism enterprises on-site.
At the event, a leading official from the Department of Culture and Tourism reported that Sichuan has made significant efforts this year in improving financial support for the cultural tourism industrial chain, increasing funding for tourism businesses, boosting financial measures to stimulate cultural tourism consumption, and enhancing payment convenience at key tourism destinations. As of the end of June, financial institutions have extended 56.47 billion yuan in loans to core and supporting enterprises along the province's cultural tourism industrial chain, representing a 24.9 percent year-on-year increase.
One of the event's highlights was the innovative "Financial Market" exhibition, where over ten financial institutions in the province showcased specialized cultural tourism financial products in a marketplace-style setting. Featured offerings included the Tianfu Cultural Industry Loan, Intangible Cultural Heritage Loan, and Sichuan Local Flavor Loan.
